The island also offers plenty of great shopping for all. If you only have one day to spend on Maui, then here are a few places to make sure you see and experience while on Maui.

Wailea is already one of the best spots to visit on Maui. However, The Shops at Wailea is arguably the very best shopping destination on Maui. Offering a ton of different options and vendors, the Shops at Wailea has a little something for everyone. One of the best things about the Shops at Wailea…. The fact that many of the over 70 boutiques and shops are local and unique to only this area. A truly unique shopping experience that should be missed.

Lahaina Cannery Mall

The Lahaina Cannery Mall is unique in a way that not only does it offer 50 shops and boutiques, al of which carry their own personal style, but the center always has some sort of local Hawaiian entertainment going on. From Hula dancing, Hawaiian artists to cultural events and festivals, all of these are enjoyed year round by visitors and residents.

Whalers Village

Located right across from the beach in the Ka’anapali area of Maui is Whalers Village. This shopping center defines the true tradition of beach and shopping that you can only find in Hawaii. Several amazing local boutiques and shops await you in this amazing shopping experience. With more than 90 stores to help satisfy even the pickiest shopper, Whalers Village is a must see while on Maui.

The Road to Hana

Combining one of the most famous drives in the world with amazing sites and destinations is the “Road to Hana.” The road is actually only a little over 50 miles, but it is long, slow and windy so it will take about three hours to drive. There are several historic and scenic viewpoints to stop at, which only adds to the draw of the Road to Hana. Make driving this road and seeing all the sites a must do while on Maui.

Wailua and Kanahualui Falls

Just about everyone that visualizes Hawaii has some type of thought of beautiful waterfalls going through their minds. Well, if you want to see a couple of the very best waterfalls in all of Hawaii, then go ahead and make the trip to Wailua and Kanahualui Falls. These two waterfalls will be everything you have imagined and more. Streams that cascade into a pool of cold, fresh Hawaii water along with beautiful scenery and plant life allow for this to be one of the destinations you need to get to during your day on Maui.

Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm

Have a little time to spare around lunch? The Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm is the place to be if you do. Enjoy a light lunch, some tea, or both and enjoy the amazing panoramic views while you do so. Ali’i Kula Lavender grows lavender year-round and fashions a variety of products from the sweet-scented herb. There are several tours available, as well as great products including bath products, body products and food items.
